Starting To Program

{EAV_BLOG_VER:a76f39f9d641db9e}
So i have decided to learn to program mainly because i want to learn how they work but also to make my own mac apps and to maybe just maybe make my own mini games. I started searching allot since most books mainly are targeted to people who already know programming which i dont. After looking for a while i found a website called cocoalab.com where i found a free book called Become An Xcoder. It assumes you have no programming knowledge what so ever and starts right from the basic's, it teaches you Objective C in xcode so it is mainly for mac user's but i guess you could download a windows IDE for Objective C. I shall be posting updates on how im doing and i will maybe post some tutorials once i get good enough , i shall be posting again soon :D

Dr Who : Episode 3 : The Curse of the Black Spot (review)

             Last night's episode ended up being quite good, was a good old fashioned pirate run about with a few dr who twists. Had lots of fun watching though they could have added a better cast as the pirate crew they just didn't seem that ruthless but overall it was good.

          At the end we got again the positive and negative pregnancy test and the doctor looking a bit worried for amy.This just got me wanting more to find out what the hell was going on with amy's baby. Im still wondering if the baby is part time lord guess we will have to find out till the end of the season im guessing. The next episode seems interesting to me since the name of the episode is "The Doctor's Wife" so cant wait for the next episode already.

          From what iv seen of the new season i think this one will be very interesting one. Though im unsure what they are going to come up with for the doctor since in the first episode he got shot in-between his regeneration cycle and died. But according to the dr who series the doctor can only regenerate 9 times so a new doctor at the end of this season cant be possible can it?. I really want to hope that this isn't the last doctor but i guess we shall have to wait to see what the writers have in store for us at the end of the series.

Dr Who's Latest Episode : Episode 2 : The Day Of The Moon

Hey everyone haven't posted in a while so thought id post about this. I know its not really technology related but what the hell. Just saw the latest episode of dr who's latest season and its raised a quite a few question's at first i thought "ok this is going to be 2nd part to the first series so its a kill, kill , lets find out who the evil person is end of episode" but nope instead im left with questions. I still loved the episode though can't wait for next week to watch the next one though im afraid what i want to be answered will have to wait until the end of season. At first i thought who's the girl but then once i saw amy pick the photograph of the girl that looked like her or was her. I thought that it might be amy or amy's baby either way i was thinking "what the hell's going on", then the pregnancy test that the doctor did on the monitor that kept saying positive and at the same time negative so it made me think more that the girl was the baby. But iv now come to a conclusion that it could also be that amy has timelord dna and the baby there for is a timelord as well but maybe skips a generation. All i know is i cant wait till the end of the season to find out , let me know what you think

iphone/ipod touch application developing

i know loads and loads of people have iPhone or a ipod touch i myself have a ipod touch (iPhone was just too expensive for me ) and most of you out there love your applications have any of you actually considered making one?

well for some time i have been wanting to do that but did not know how to code at all so i started to look for some tutorials and i dived right in, took me a long while to get it all down but eventually i made a few applications. i would like to share with you the tutorials i found since it might help you in creating applications and who knows maybe one day il see your application on the app store and buy it. Firstly if you have a mac you can go the apple way and make applications very easily but if you own a windows machine you will have to go the unapple way and jailbreak your iPhone/ipod touch and use cydia to distribute your applications well and to make them since apple has not release a way to make applications for the iPhone/ipod touch on windows.

for people who have no clue how to code or who only know a bit of programing here is some good tutorials to get you started hello world tutorial (a program which you make when you start learning programming) beginners guide to iPhone development (this is the one i started out with) and appls a muck ( they give you 30 apps to make and how its made and full explanation of everything really good site) and here is one for the windows people development to windows/Linux programming

now for the distribution the apple way is pretty straight forward so wont say how since a easy look at the apple iPhone dev site it will tell you though the apple way will set you back $100 since you have to buy a developer's licence to be able to test your apps on your iPhone/ipod touch and to put them on the apple store. Now for windows its simple for people who use jailbroken iphone's/ipod touches allot publish application on cydia well that's about it hope this will help lots of people out there if you need anything just email me at bachisawsum@googlemail.com il be glad to help btw all credit gose to the people who made these tutorials , peace
